Content Removal

Last updated: 2026-07-08

Who can request removal

Kaju indexes metadata — titles, tags, thumbnail image URLs, uploader names, and links — collected from external source sites. It does not host any video files. If you are the rights holder for a piece of content, the uploader who originally posted it, or an authorized agent acting on behalf of either, you may request that an indexed entry be hidden or removed from Kaju.

How to submit a request

Send an email to legal@kaju.moe including all of the following:

  • The URL(s) of the entry on kaju.moe you want removed.
  • The URL(s) of the original content on the external source site.
  • Your relationship to the content (rights holder, uploader, or authorized agent, and on whose behalf you are acting if applicable).
  • A contact email address we can reply to.

What happens next

We review each request to confirm the requester's relationship to the content and match it against the indexed entry. Once a request is verified, the corresponding metadata is hidden or deleted from Kaju within a reasonable time. We may follow up by email if we need more information to verify a request.

Note on source content

Because Kaju does not host any video files, removing an entry from Kaju removes it from our index only. To remove the underlying content itself, you will need to contact the external source site directly.
