Meanwhile, as Ai's path to stardom begins to take shape, the story takes a dark and psychological turn by introducing Ikuko: a 42-year-old woman trapped in loneliness and self-loathing. One night, after releasing her frustrations in the privacy of her bathroom, strange noises alert her to an intruder in her apartment. Convinced that she is about to lose everything, she prepares for the worst... with no idea who is actually waiting for her in the shadows.
